Claude Tatum

Claude Tatum, 94, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, January 11, 2010. He was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. He attended Oak Chappel School in Cleveland, GA. Mr. Tatum was retired from Olin Chemical Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess Dillard Tatum and Emma McCollum Tatum of White Co., GA; wife, Margaret Hamilton Tatum; grandson, Chris Tatum and granddaughter, Margaret Britaney Wells; brothers and sisters: Bruce Tatum, Mary Lee Tatum Edmonds, Homer Tatum and Ruth Tatum Massey. Survivors include his children: Larry W. Tatum of Cleveland and Margaret Bernita Tatum of Naples, FL; grandchildren: Dean Tatum and wife, Stephanie, Don Tatum and wife, Becci all of Cleveland; great grandchildren: Donielle Tatum, Kyle Tatum, Caleb Tatum, Colby Tatum and Andera Tatum all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, January14, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dean Tatum, Don Tatum, Caleb Tatum, Kyle Tatum, Randall Tatum, Bill Hamilton, Loye Hamilton, and Carl Hamilton serving as pallbearers. Jackie Hamilton, Paul Tatum and Roy Tatum will serve as honorary pallbearers. His family will receive friends 4-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
